My name is Brijean Brennan. I’m a creative problem solver.
I’ve always had a knack for picking up tech talk and thriving in digital product building. I have experience developing design systems and patterns, eCommerce best practices, prototyping, and creating engaging user interfaces.

I have worked at a wide range of companies, from large corporations to small boutique firms. This experience has made me highly adaptable to many types of working environments.
I have worked on large cross-functional teams solving complex business needs and have independently advocated UX best practices to small businesses and teams on tight budgets.
What ties all of these experiences together is at the heart of each project, there are always users with pain points and stakeholders trying to solve business needs. No matter the scale, I love solving these problems.

Process
As a designer, I bring a highly collaborative and strategic style to all projects I lead. I believe in approaching every problem with a human-centered approach. I consider user and business needs and apply the appropriate methodology to each project. This might include conducting research, competitive analysis, gathering insights, interviews, and testing.
My education and background in visual design have made me an excellent visual designer. My strong sense of hierarchy, typography, and visual organization has been extremely helpful in creating design systems, intuitive interfaces, and unique solutions for visualizing data.
I have over 10+ years of expertise and constantly learn and apply new techniques and technology to my process. Some of the tools and methodologies I use are Figma, Miro, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Atlassian, Invision, Survey Monkey, card sorting, journey mapping, style tiles creation, heuristic evaluation, and whiteboarding or sketching.
